The most powerful brand of 2006

The world's most valuable brand, Coke is not, nor Microsoft, but it is:

And that's what emerges from "the BrandZ Top 100 Most Powerful Brands" ie, the ranking of most powerful brands in 2006 according to its value at $ prepared by Millward Brown Optimor in collaboration with The Financial Times.

According to the ranking, the Google brand has reached a value of $ 66,434 million in 2006, increasing its value by 77% over 2005, ahead of General Electric, Microsoft and Coca Cola are brands that follow.

The report also indicates that the key to the success of the brands in 2006 is in these 4 areas:

  • BRICs: Striking the Balance Between Global and local consistency sensitivity (Balance between action at the global and local)
  • Converging technologies (Convergence Technology)
  • Delivering on Corporate Social Responsibility (Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate)
  • Fast food brands react to health conscious Consumers (Tendency to safe and healthy products for consumers)

Similarly, also refers to different rankings more specific, for example:

  • 10 brands of the day: Google, Apple, Louis Vuitton, Starbucks ........
  • 10 brands UK: Vodafone, HSBC, Tesco, Marks & Spencer .........
  • Europe excluding UK 10 brands: Nokia, BMW, Louis Vuitton, SAP, Mercedes, Porsche .........
  • North America 10 brands: Google, General Electric, Mircosoft, Coca cola ......

Also interesting is the ranking of brands by product type: Sportswear, Drinks, Cars, Coffee, Fast Food, Financial Institutions, Mobile / Wireless, etc

So if you're interested, I invite you to take a look at the ranking because it is extremely interesting:

Gmail paper

And Google continues to grow, as it has recently launched a spectacular new service: Gmail Paper that gives you the possibility that Google will print the emails that you specify from your account Gmail and send them an email address registered by the Users without any cost, as Google puts advertising return on the back of the sheet but never within the message, just as if the message includes photographs, printed on photographic paper, which carries no bias for the environment since all prints are made on recycled paper. This page is read into the service:

And this is what should have been the post, but Google are very funny!, And although I had missed a lot of the service, I also thought that Google anything, but it seemed a viable service in many respects, and indeed That's right, as Google has betrayed the joke, since it is an act of April 1 amounts to the U.S. which in Spain are the Holy Innocents on December 28, the feast with which Google has contributed announcing the launch of this "new" service, because it is traditional on this day, large companies do some kind of hoax or joke :-) .

Quote John W.Thomson

Symantec is synonymous with security.
Microsoft is synonymous with many things,
but honestly,
"Security" is not one of them.
