Statistics HelloWorld Blog
With the new year, I wanted to do some summary statistics that marked 2007 as other yes they did, but could not be.
And recently, held the 2 years old of HelloWorld Blog on the net I decided resarcirme a bit and today I will show in a reduced and shortened some statistics that have marked these 2 years old, but not too deeply, because for me the statistics are not crucial, but if I find curious, apart from a comprehensive analysis of all options and possibilities offered by Google Analytics would be almost endless, so just put some graphics that you can perhaps be representative and interesting.
1) Number of visits in these 2 years old of existence in the network,
:

2) Where are you from?
As shown in the image on the left, and logically, the majority of visits is for Spanish-speaking visitors, mainly from Spain as the largest source of visitors, followed by several South American countries like Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, etc.
In the right image, since Spain is the biggest source of my visits, you can see q ue cities do so in greater numbers.

But that list does not go all that are, or are all that are,
, I put a map that makes the most representative Spanish cities I visited this time, at least for guidance, since it does not leave the names of cities, towns, etc.

3) What operating system is the most used by my visitors?
As seen in the picture, there is little surprise, and the result is overwhelming, I will not say logical because it would not be, but being realistic, taking into account the current reality we live in terms of OS, yes it is Predictably, the increased use of Windows, followed by Linux and Mac minority, although I was surprised by the large difference in percentage, and that over 96% of visitors, you did with Windows, so the conclusion seems clear, is not it,
.

4) What browsers are most used by my visitors?
Here the fight is more equal, and plays a little script that expected, because first we have an approximately 53% of visitors accessed through Internet Explorer, a nearly 40% do so through Firefox, and the other alternative browsers by following the logical sequence imagined, ranking as 3rd Opera browser access.
My desire it, that next year that Firefox had more% Explorer,
.

5) What if we combine browser and OS?
The result seems quite logical when you consider the above data, because as you see in the picture, a little more than half, using a combination accedeis Windows / I.Explorer, a nearly 40% the combination you use Windows / Firefox almost 5% prefer the combination Windows / Opera, and what is evident is that those who accedeis with Linux, you do it using Firefox.
Finally, I also find it curious that enter with Mac and you do it with a similar percentage of Firefox or Safari.

6) Most of you are coming from search engines and specific pages, let's see which
Most visits (over 50%) comes from search engines, being approximately 75% from Google, which makes sense, being that Google has 99% share in Spain, and many services that use the blog, are related to Google, so it is normal that high percentage.

Another important part of the visits (30%) are from web pages, especially "Our Partners" and that eliminating access to the main blog page directly which of course are many of these visits, and also eliminating related pages from Google (Google Images), is that primarily visits from "Our Partners" do it from:
Bicosyes , Cyn's place , Take it slow , Miguel Daza ,

And finally, in closing, I want to comment above, post or categories that have generated more attention over these 2 years old, that removing the main entry page to the blog that have led some 11,900 visits (31.12%), Most liked what has been:
- Heroes of Silence Concert 10.10.2007 (1717 views, approximately 4.49%)
- Category Minigames (1,216 visitors, approximately 3.18%)
- Attention test (840 visits, approximately 2.20%)
- Ad Repsol and Maslow (634 visits, approximately 1.66%)
- Category My parakeets (508 visits, about 1.33%)
- Stockholm: Extra photos (316 visits, about 0.83%)
- Category Economics (305 visits, about 0.8%)
I hope that you will not have seemed very boring post, and I have some curious and interesting result data. ![]()

More than fourteen thousand readers ... ugh. Congratulations
A note to the thread of your last statistic: we are not thinking only of "positioning" (I mean not just showing up well in searches, but generally have traffic) sites or blogs, but in positioning posts. And it would have to think about the relationship between posts and the blog. For example, it would be interesting to know how many users have come to seeing your pictures of Stockholm because they were interested in the concert of heroes. I find it very enlightening that statistic.
Google Search For "Post Position" and "post position" 5 and 1 respectively results, almost all irrelevant (compared to 643,000 for "Web positioning" for example). Poscionamiento write a post on my blog post on technology ( http://nti-javiergutierrezpalacio.blogspot.com/ )
A saludote
Thanks for the comment Javier. I totally agree with the importance of post position in search engines, even more than the site itself, in fact, is something I've been watching I do sometimes, but if I would talk about it in this post dragged on, Like so although I'm game, and in the future do a post about it, I will expand a little information about it's because some of those are the most viewed post and its relationship to other blog post:
Completely agree that it is increasingly important to position post more than the entire blog, in fact usually an entire blog is easy to position it, but maybe not so much post position.
Although in the end, blogs, talk about positioning the blog is almost useless, because who is going to go to Google and go after helloworld blog without knowing of my blog?, For no one.
And now that's indicative of the statistics, if people come to the blog from a browser is because they leave the post at the top, ie are positioned, and that has no turning back. (Also influencing the links from other blogs, etc, but I speak only for search engines)
Take the example of this phenomenon with the most popular post:
* One of the most popular post was the announcement of the repsol and the Pyramid of Maslow, for example because if you Google:
http://www.google.es/search?hl=es&q=Anuncio+repsol+maslow&btnG=Buscar+con+Google&meta=lr% 3Dlang_es
Repsol Ad Maslow, the post referred to that in helloworld leaves the fifth result blog (EVER Marking the box pages in Spanish)
* Another example is also very clear photo post more of Stockholm:
The visitors who come to my blog through this post, then visit virtually the entire category of Stockholm (about 17 post), but the main entrance is through the various photo post, not another, why?, Because if you put Google:
Photos Stockholm, comes first on the second page of Google results.
Regarding what you say that "For example, it would be interesting to know how many users have come to seeing your pictures of Stockholm because they were interested in the concert of heroes. I find it very enlightening that statistic. "
Well, specifically, with respect to this statistic, I say that is not very illuminating, since most people who have come to my site through the heroes of post slencio (The most visited), again for your position in google because if you put photos of silence concert zaragoza heroes get the 4 results more or less, and if you put zaragoza Chronicle concert heroes of silence (even without the Zaragoza, only the silent heroes concert chronic), starts first. hence so is a major input sources.
But good that I stray, it is true that it is a great source of entry, yet I can not say that generates a lot of traffic on the blog, because as for example, that went to see several photos of Stockholm, were then all the others and post some more in other categories, most of the heroes who go in silence, see related posts heroes of silence, or more music, and though one has seen after more categories as the category Blog, or software, are a very minimal%, so that there is a very positive view of their good poscionamiento on Google and the traffic generation from this blog post.
Finally, we also recommend that you see but what you have not already, one more example of the importance of positioning of the post, the post that you recommended at the end of this post:
http://holamundo.dreamhosters.com/2007/10/19/el-poder-de-atraccion-de-heroes-del-silencio/
in which one can observe this phenomenon most practical way of positioning the post and its importance,
.

have not used my super script to generate annual graphs
, Booooo.
Curious statistics of search engines, are usually normal 9x% of google (in bicosyes is> 95%).
@ Blaxter: As I use it uh,
. If they are so well positioned is that you have many posts,
.
Regards
Interesting statistics, I have been a very well organized post.
