And continuing with the review of my holiday in Cantabria, which already started in some previous posts, hot it is the turn to the town of Comillas , one of the most representative of Cantabria and almost a must if you're in the area. Another characteristic place of Comillas, and sure you indicate in the Office of Tourism, is the Capricho de Gaudi building custom built by Maximo Diaz de Quijano, brother of the Marquis of Comillas, near Sobrellano Palace, residence of the latter .

The order was carried out in 1883 by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, who endowed him with a certain oriental touch and the original purpose of being a summer residence, but is now a restaurant.

As I commented a while ago, the Palace of Gaudi was next, another of the architectural icons of the town of Comillas: Sobrellano Palace , designed by architect Joan Martorell in 1878 by order of the Marquis of Comillas D. Antonio Lopez y Lopez. Enjoy it, a few photos:
