Repsol and Maslow II
In this post I talked about Maslow's pyramid and the announcement of Repsol, which ended with a name Frederick Herzberg
As his relationship with Maslow's pyramid is to say that through his theory improves the model of Maslow.
Herzberg states that there are basically two types of factors, hygiene factors and motivating factors, but unlike Maslow, Herzberg states that the hygiene factors by the fact that they are not going to generate satisfaction, ie it is assumed that they be.
For example when you go to class because you assume that there will be blackboard, chairs, tables, etc..
But if these factors are therefore not going to generate dissatisfaction.
And then there are the motivating factors that are going to meet the needs of people and they will generate satisfaction and motivation.
HYGIENE FACTORS | MOTIVATING FACTORS |
Working conditions | The work itself |
Wage | Realization |
Job security | Recognition |
That is, the first two levels of the pyramid Maslow more or less | Professional advancement |
Responsibility, ETC ................. |
Be happy and nice weekend

Repsol and Maslow
Surely you saw on TV the last spot of Repsol, the speaker of the pyramid of Maslow and needs. As well, if you're not familiar with the economic or business in its somewhat theoretical, as you might think, a nice ad but neither me or I will tell what comes of the Maslow pyramid , since neither Nosé that is, well, that I will esribir something today, but in a simplistic way, I said that if he ever wrote on economic issues would not be on the technical, but for humans, lol. So I hope you like it:
Note that he planned to have written before this, but the announcement was not on Youtube, so before writing a review I found and also the topic in the blog Markarina so it seems fair to mention,
Because it is so I knew the video was already in Yutube.
The first thing is to put the video of the announcement of Repsol, not,
The truth is that I was quite curious and beautiful when I first saw him and awakened in me many positive feelings, like Maslow's pyramid because I liked it when I studied and then as the first words I heard as it relates.
The truth is that an ad is not very technical, and it is not difficult to understand even the first time you hear talk about Maslow.
Abraham Maslow (April 1, 1908 - June 8, 1970) is an American psychologist who in 1943 sets out the theory of human needs Maslow pyramid :

Physiological needs such as:
- Good environmental working conditions (temperature, luminosity, working material)
- Hygiene / Cleaning job
- Wage
Security needs as:
- The temporary contract: Permanent or Temporary
- Threat of job
Need for social acceptance
- Optimal integration into the working group
- Position of responsibility
- Having an appreciation for some of the other
Self-esteem needs as:
- Relationship with peers, senior managers, etc.
- Having a domain of the work performed that allows you to have a
control over that feeling that you need. - Recognition of work
Needs of self as:
- Promotion prospects
- Assuming the position that meets your motivations.
So try the first humans to meet their physiological needs and from there attempt to cover the remaining levels. In my opinion the first levels can become covered, but the last level at first seems difficult that may come to be covered, since it seems you're always trying to improve what you have, is not it, making it difficult to know when you've reached your highest level of self-realization.
One conclusion can be drawn from this pyramid, is that for example the money alone is not worth it to retain and motivate people, but we must try to offer more, trying to cover as many needs as possible.
And as if to say negative things as well postivas and talking about the pyramid you can extend and expand, I think more or less may remain unclear to this which is the pyramid of Maslow, however, wanted to make the point more, but getting longer and very much so I will post tomorrow.
In advance I will just say a name, Frederick Herzberg
Be happy
